The communities of Columbia, Tennessee, and Morton, Illinois, are mourning the loss of Noah Frederick Remmert, who passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2026. His sudden passing has left family, friends, and loved ones heartbroken as they reflect on a life marked by laughter, warmth, and deep devotion to those he cared about most.
Born and raised in Morton, Illinois, Noah was known from a young age for his quick wit, sharp sense of humor, and ability to bring joy into any room he entered. Friends and family remember him as someone whose smile could instantly brighten even the most difficult days, and whose presence made others feel welcomed and valued.
A proud graduate and devoted supporter of the University of Kansas, Noah carried his school pride with enthusiasm. He followed sports closely and remained connected to the university community, sharing that passion with friends and loved ones throughout his life.
Music played a central role in Noah’s world. He had a deep love for EDM, finding joy, energy, and comfort in its rhythm and creativity. Whether attending events, listening at home, or sharing playlists with friends, music was a constant source of happiness and expression for him. His passion for gaming also provided countless hours of connection and camaraderie, allowing him to build friendships and share experiences with others who enjoyed the same interests.
Above all else, Noah was deeply devoted to his family. He shared a close and loving bond with his parents, Fred and Kimberly Remmert, and his sister Olivia, who were central to his life. Family members describe him as caring, loyal, and always willing to show up for the people he loved without hesitation.
Noah also shared a special connection with his faithful companion, his dog Mallard, who brought him comfort and joy. Those who knew him often saw how much love and affection he had for his pet, reflecting his gentle and compassionate nature.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Kenneth J. Abrams. He is survived by his parents, sister, paternal grandparents Gerald and Patsy Remmert, maternal grandmother Carol Abrams, aunt Kelly Abrams, uncle Charles (Natalie) Remmert, and special friend Sydney Hughes, all of whom will carry his memory forward with love.
Friends and loved ones are invited to a visitation on Friday, June 12th from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., followed by a service to honor his life.
